Havasu Pioneers Radio Show

On October 7th, 2020 NALC Board Member and Chemehuevi Tribal Elder Matt Leivas and Ms. Bridget Sandate, Director of the Chemehuevi Cultural Center participated in an interview with Host Dan Delasantos at the Havasu Pioneers Radio Show. Mr. Leivas and Ms. Sandate shared about the Chemehuevi Tribe, its history and presence in the area since time immemorial, and about their beautiful ancestral lands. Listeners had an opportunity to call in with questions. Mr. Leivas and Ms. Sandate also shared some words in Chemehuevi.
