Grant Administrator

Experience Level: At least 2 years of experience in grant-related administration or nonprofit/business administration (or a related field) preferred.
Pay: $55,000 - $68,640 Per Year
Location: Remote (occasional travel required) — applicants must reside in California.
About the Role:
The Native American Land Conservancy (NALC) is seeking a Grants Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional interested in nonprofit work and grant administration. This full-time, hourly position includes comprehensive training and opportunities for advancement within the organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Research, write, and submit grant applications and reports

Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and deliverables

Maintain accurate records of grants and related documentation

Collaborate with the Executive Director and Operations Director on tracking grant-funded projects and budgets

Prepare reports for funders and board members

Track grant financials

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency in grant- and project-related tasks

Perform other duties as assigned to support the Conservancy

Travel:
This position is primarily remote but includes occasional travel within California to locations such as Banning, the Coachella Valley, Morongo Valley, and other areas as needed for meetings, events, or on-site activities.
